2016年7月4日 Pool Play! 蒸し暑い今日この頃。 ついにホライゾン学園仙台校幼稚部にも子ども達の大好きなこの日がやってきました。 Student's favorite time has come... プール遊びの時間です！ Pool Play!! 今日はKindergartenとPreschool 3の2クラスがプール遊びを楽しみました。 あいにくの曇り空だったので、ちょっと水が冷たかったようですが、子供たちの歓声と笑顔が弾けていました。 幼稚部は3クラスあるので、天気を見ながら交代でプール遊びをします。 Kindergarten and Preschool 3 students had a great fun day today! It was partially cloudy and the water was a little cold, but all child enjoyed playing in water. We have 3 classes of ELC so teachers will arrangement to use the pool as the weather permits. 春学期（1学期）の終了日までにあと何回入れるかな？ How many times can we have pool play time? Rain Rain go Away! 　 　 　

2016年7月4日~9日 Literacy Week & Book Fair (7/4~7/9)　 ホライゾン学園仙台校幼稚部では、本日から「読書週間＆ブックフェア」のイベントが開催されます。 Horizon Japan International School Sendai Early Learning Centre is now having Literacy Week and Book Fair starting from today. 読書週間中は、Preschool 3（年少）、Preschool 4（年中）、 Kindergarten（年長）クラスまでの子供たちがいっしょになって、先生方が考えた様々なアクティビティに参加します。 第1日目の今日は幼稚部のプレイルームに集まり、学年混合の少人数グループを作って、様々なアクティビティを行っていました。 During Literacy Week, Preschool 3, Preschool 4 and Kindergarten students participate various fun activities that teachers plan. 2016年6月29日~30日 We had Primary School Parents' Day! 今年度初めての「授業参観」がありました。 We had the first Primary School Parents' Day of this academic year. 平日にもかかわらず，たくさんの方にお出でいただき，ほんとうにありがとうございました。 Thank you for coming to the parents' day. 2016年6月13日（月） Swimming Class has started! 小学校でいよいよ水泳の授業が始まりました！ Primary School students have started their swimming class from today! ホライゾン学園仙台小学校は敷地内に水泳施設が無いので、学校外の施設を借りて水泳の授業を行います。給食を食べた後、準備をして施設へ出発！スクールバスで移動しました。 We do not have swimming pool at school. We rent swimming facility for swimming class. All students moved to the facility by school bus after lunch time. 今日はあいにくの雨でしたが、屋内施設のプールを使用するので、問題ありません。天候を気にすることなく、プールの授業を行うことができます。 It was rainy today, but there's no problem to have swimming class because we rent indoor pool. We do not worry about the weather! 水泳指導の時間には、児童のレベルに合わせて3つのグループに分け、レベルに応じた指導を行います。 We divide students into 3 groups based on their swimming skill. Teachers teach each group properly. 夏休みまでの間に4回のプール授業を予定しています。1回あたりの時間は、2時間分の授業数に相当します。 We're planning to have 4 swimming classes before summer break. 2016年6月13日（月） Stranger Drill 避難訓練（不審者対応）を行いました。 We had stranger drill today. 泉警察署より警察官の方に来て頂き、避難訓練を行いました。 地震・火災の避難訓練に続き、今年度に入って3回目の避難訓練です。 Police officers from Izumi Police Department had lecture for us. This is the 3rd drill from the beginning of this academic year. 警察の方のお話を聞く子どもたち 避難訓練は、小学校と幼稚部の合同で行いました。 Primary school students and ELC students leaned how they need to take care of the issue. 幼稚部のプレイルーム（室内遊戯場）にて 本当に怖い人は見かけではわかりません。 楽しく安全に毎日を過ごすために大事なことを教えてもらいました。 We do not know exactly who is really bad by their looking.
