【小学校】第1回卒業式を行いました
The 1st Graduation Ceremony of Horizon Sendai Primary School
２０２２年３月１５日にホライゾン学園仙台小学校の第１回卒業式を行い、３６名の児童が卒業しました。今後、３６名の卒業生たちは、それぞれの進学先で新たな生活をスタートさせます。
The first graduation ceremony of Horizon Sendai Primary School was held on March 15th, 2022 and 36 students graduated. They will start new life at their new school from this Spring.
６年前に開校した時に第１期生として入学した子どもたちは、上級生がいない中、また、新しい小学校として様々な試みを実践していく中、本校で学ぶ児童として、そして本校の歴史を作る礎（いしずえ）として、６年間、様々なことに取り組んできました。
Students who enrolled as the first students when the school opened 6 years ago had no senior students. They practiced various things for 6 years. They were learners and at the same time, they were a part of the foundation for making the history of our school.
卒業までのこの２年間は新型コロナウイルス感染症による影響もあり、学校行事が変更・延期になったこと、オンラインと対面でのハイブリッド授業に臨んだこと、PYP学習の集大成であるエキシビジョンもオンラインで行うことになったなど、様々な困難・課題に対面してきました。しかしそれらをひとつ一つ乗り越えるたびに、子どもたちは大きく成長しました。この経験が、子どもたちひとり一人の人生の「糧（かて）」となり、これからの長い人生を生きていく中での「かけがえのない１ページ」となることでしょう。
During the last 2 years until graduation, due to the influence of the COVID-19, school events had been changed or postponed, students had online and face-to-face hybrid classes, and the exhibition, which is the culmination of PYP learning, was also held online. They faced various issues and challenges. However, we belive that those issues and challenges were kind of essential portion to learn from difficulties and it made students grow more and more.
